I am a former homeschool mom in my fourth year of teaching professionally. I taught French and 8th grade English at South Davis Jr. High the first year, and then French and U.S. History the second. I advised French Club and a Model E.U. team and served as World Language department chair at my school. I also attended the Solution Tree conference in S.L., wrote English literature units, Social Studies assessments, and worked on W.L. curriculum and assessment teams for Davis School District.
Last year, I moved to my kids' Core Knowledge charter elementary as the Librarian. We've just finished a major renovation of our building, including a new Media Center (complete with Mac lab) and are implementing a major technology upgrade throughout our school. I teach around 400 students in the library and lab each week as well as extra curricular activities including yearbook and stage crew after school.
