I am a high school special education teacher and want to teach my students with mild/moderate disabilities how to use technology to accommodate for their challenges in the high school curriculum. This includes using dictation, text to speech, organizational tools, online learning sites, and the power of phones and devices at their finger tips. I teach Secondary 1&2 math and have been incorporating the use of ipads in my class to supplement learning with videos & apps. Additionally, I am interested in networking and potentially seeking other job opportunities exploring and promoting technology for students with disabilities.
