Why One Access Point Per Classroom is Wrong During recent times, some wireless vendors have taken to approach to promote one access point per classroom as a wireless design to support 1:1 and Bring Your Own Device initiatives. Either mislead by aggressive marketing campaigns or the need to increase revenue, this proposal as a "one solution fits all" is plain wrong. If a proper design yields one AP per classroom, so the network will perform better than if you simply install one AP per classroom as your starting point. This session will address methods for proper design that will create wireless networks that simply "work".
