Avoiding Death by PowerPoint: Principles of Effective Multimedia Design We've all endured a terrible PowerPoint presentation. Based on the science of learning, this session will teach the principles for creating presentations that are engaging, interesting, and effective. This is not a session about how to use the tools of the PowerPoint software. It is a session about the principles of effective multimedia presenting that apply to any platform: PowerPoint, Google Slides, Prezi, Rocket Slides, or even handouts, flyers, or books. Come and learn how to craft engaging presentations that enhance learning.
