Having a Hoot with Kahoot
Having a Hoot with Kahoot Learn to make a simple interactive web-based quiz that generates intense student engagement and interaction. The presentation will guide participants from sign-up (free) to getting results from this quiz.
This system is great for formative assessments, getting students excited about the subject matter, friendly competition, and works for all ages that can read. Participants must bring their own laptop or mobile device. Larger screens work best for creating new quizzes, but any device works to participate in taking the quiz.
You thought you would never utter the words, "Students, get out your phone..." They of course can use Ipads, Ipods, or whatever they have that is connected to the internet.
