Madlyn Runburg is the Director of Education Initiatives at NHMU. Runburg has a M.A. in Education from Northern Arizona University and more than two decades of experience working on innovative programs and approaches to using informal/museum resources to support K-12 teachers and students. Runburg has a particular focus on technology-enabled learning and authentic science experiences. She works with diverse groups of local and national stakeholders to provide project leadership on new and emerging programs. Runburg was a CAISE Fellow in 2009-2010 and has served on the management team of multiple educational outreach projects.
Runburg is the Director of the Advancing Critical Thinking initiative at NHMU and has led Research Quest program development from program conception to a published, online resource.
