Rebecca Young is a Graphic Arts and CareerPath Teacher at Horizon Jr./Sr. Alternative High School and Print Shop Supervisor at the Uinta County School District Number One in Evanston, Wyoming. She is endorsed by the State of Wyoming with a Practical Instructor Permit in Arts, Technology and Communications, Visual Arts and Printing Techniques. Ms. Young has been teaching since the fall of 2010 and has worked with UCSD1 since January 2000. In addition to teaching, Ms. Young is a Member of ACTE, WACTE and ISTE. Ms. Young teaches CareerPath, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Yearbook, Photography, Word, Excel and Outlook classes. She also holds Robotics/Game Coding workshops just for fun. As the Blended Learning Lead for Horizon, Rebecca is a Professional Development Designer and Facilitator. She teaches instructors how to use Blended Learning, Gooru-Learning, Google for Education, Activate Instruction, Illuminate, and Photoshop elements in their core classrooms. Rebecca currently resides in Evanston with her high school senior Matthew, and gets quarterly visits from her University of Utah Psychology graduate, pre-med student - daughter Megan, who is getting married July 2nd and going on a Volunteer-moon to Cambodia July 22nd with the Peace Corp for 27 months
